Why I'm an Atheist

I could come up with 100 proofs that there is no God, religion just doesn't make sense to me.
I mean come on, you want me to believe in something that I can't see, hear, taste, touch or smell?
If you say "You can do all those, God is all around you in everything." I will say, "Prove it." and this will start a very cliched argument. I dislike thinking of something that is of greater stature, power or meaning than myself, I believe the only thing one should worship is their loved ones.
When you die you get recycled into the earth, no question, you don't turn into a spirit and get to have your way with 72 virgins or ascend to a great golden city in the clouds.
Evolution is the only thing that makes sense to me, things came from nothing and the Universe went on infinitely before recorded history. For all we know, time is a big circle and will continue to repeat, in the year 10,000 maybe the Universe will implode, then the Big Bang will happen again and life will evolve and just maybe a race of giraffe-humanoids will become the dominate species. That'd rock.
